| As a follow up post to my question last week about how to get the antenna to go up only during radio operation: It was a disaster behind the Head Unit. I only had one blue /white wire that said to use it as the power amp wire OR the auto-antenna operation wire. Dual function wire? All or nothing I guess. I had both my amps and my antenna wired up to this thing. I cut the wire to my amps and just had the antenna wire connected to the head unit and it was still powering on the antenna even when on CD and USB modes. This leads me to believe that the head unit will always send a signal to the antenna no matter what is selected as the output. So the antenna will always go up when the stereo is on, unless I add a switch in line somewhere. Only thing that might also have an affect is some option on the stereo itself but I think it is just an internal switch that cuts power to the whole blue/white wire. So I would get the antenna down, and turn the amps off. Any way you guys know of to fix this besides another switch in line?
